Minor plot issues - suspension of belief over pathologist assumptions without more evidence. I guess I’ve read enough crime novels and medical examiner type thrillers to know better. Called one plot twist early on but the actual bad guy I didn’t see coming. Decent read.

The forensics guy making some big leaps based on the evidence. What makes him assume it’s someone young? Coz he may have used a Shanghai, (and faked writing a note with his left hand) and again what lead him to that conclusion when he first thought ball peen hammer?
