Status Updates From The Last Resort

Repetitive incidents of odd happenings. No rising tension just bits of tension and no hint at the reveal yet. In other words, not sure where this is going so it's more of a slog at this point than an adventure to find out more.

Intriguing setup but now a third of the way through and not much is happening or being revealed. Skimmed a few reviews and a lot of the 1 and 2 star comments say that's the way it is with the whole novel. I hope not!
