Status Updates From Fox (The Player)

I think that leaves me on a 3,5 star rating, cuz while I enjoyed most of the book, Sasha kinda spoiled that for me in the end. Yes, I'm glad they made up pretty quickly, and that the "blonde groupie thing" was handled as soon as it did, so it didn't create more drama. Ugh and yes, they were sweet together - which ia also why I'm probbaly gonna round up to 4 stars. I'm still not happy with Sasha tho.

Now Sasha's reaction to Fox accidentally sending her naked pictures to the wrong email was way out of line tho. Well, not her reaction (that was valid), but her accusing him of doing it deliberately. I mean, does she even know him? Even if he was mad at her for keeping her project a secret, he would never do anything like that to hurt her. It was mean and uncalled for, and I didn't like it.

But while I enjoyed it, I found the drama stupid. Fox' reaction to Sasha using him as inspiration for her project made sense, as he was generally very insecure about his performance on the ice, so I got why he was mad she didn't tell him. Especially since she knew it was wrong of her from the beginning, yet she never mustered up the courage to tell him.

I liked this. Fox and Sasha had chemestry and were such close friends, and I got why neither of them wanted to ruin what they had. And when they then finally got together? Perfection. They still had the closeness from before as friends, but now it was so much deeper (and the sex was delicious), which made their relationship that much more epic.

Well damn, I didn't expect for Fox to admit he wanted more with Sasha already than being a rebound. What a nice surprise :)

Yeah no way these two can go back to just being friends after a night like that. And if they act like it meant nothing in the morning, I'm gonna be disappointed, but not surprised. I mean, it's uncharted territory for both of them, so they're probably gonna dance around the topic for a while before admitting to their feelings.

Ryan didn't like kissing? The flip? Major red flag!! Thank God she got rid of that douche >.<
