Never have I felt so seen and understood while simultaneously feeling so relentlessly personally attacked.
The fact that I feel only partially seen and partially attacked is evidence that I am exactly the kind of speculative person who Kierkegaard brilliantly mocks for wanting to have my cake and eat it too!
This leads me to despair… or, like the speculator, half-despair…which is not despair at all! Woe is me!
