Damn this book is depressing. The inequality and inequity is so upsetting. You cannot convince me that this country does not hate people of color. It’s just a marching line of court cases ruling against them at every opportunity possible. Caregiver found with cocaine? Damn, guess we’ll evict the elderly woman in public housing. Grandson arrested for drugs? Grandma is now homeless. Jesus Christ this is horrific
