I apologize to the author. I got fooled by that ridiculous anime cover.
But now that I'm in the story, I'm enjoying the mature tone, calm pace, and progressive reveals far more than I thought I would.
It's still Gamelit, but not the juvenile kind, and I like that!

I've read in a review how this book is going to end and it's actually putting me more on edge. I should listen to "Ezio's Family" vom Assassin's Creed II - it would fit the mood.

And off they finally are 😅 I like the pacing, the slower and methodical approach to this Insekai story unlike most out there.
