Status Updates From The Book On Prayer: An Invi...

This book is so good! Makes you soar and cry and a little chuckle here and there!

The I can do it myself attitude…a lot of people have it but so few actually ask for help…

Finished the 2nd week. Definitely hitting some hard points!

Surrendering and praying for things helped a lot.

Whew!!

The Trysting place origins was awe-striking. Absolutely happy I decided to take my time on this book.

"This is Pentecost as God gave it through the heart of Jesus. Strive for this. Contend for this. Teach people to pray for this. For this, and this alone, will meet the necessity of the human heart, And this alone will have the power to overcome the forces of darkness.” When the angel left Lake, he said: “Pray. Pray. Pray. Teach the people to pray. Prayer and prayer alone…

In the Upper Room, Jesus said to His disciples, “With desire, I have desired to share this meal with you” (Luke 22:15, KJV). Jesus transformed the Upper Room into a Trysting Place – a place of intimacy and communion with Him.

Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer! Thy wings shall my petition bear to him whose truth and faithfulness engage the waiting soul to bless. And since he bids me seek His face, believe his word, and trust His grace, I'll cast on Him my every care, and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
