The writing and relationships are cute, but I’m getting a little sick of this formula of the twink damsel in distress having to be rescued by their self-appointed protector BF. Every book in this series has been like this, but this is the WORST culprit so far. I’ve really lost my patience with Ben’s naivety, and his propensity to wonder off and predictably cause more issues in a stupidly avoidable way. 🫣
