Schopy starts with a simple, and deviously difficult argument to disprove: “the world is my idea”. Any attempts to demonstrate the World predates my idea of it would fail under Schopenhaur’s system for the simple reason that the only reason it is possible for me to think the world predates me, is due to my subjective faculties. But this is only a starting point. I’m looking forward to the next three books.
