These books are fun enough, but the author doesn’t trust the reader at all. Stop stating obvious things, I feel like a curmudgeon.

The book starts out with the explanation of how the MCs got to know each other just 6 days ago during some wild scheme. I got the feeling that should have either been explained a lot later or been part of the book, because the first thing I want when starting to read a book is being pelted with names and places that don't have anything to do with the story at hand.
