I had high hopes for this book but nearly halfway there and I'm still waiting for that awesome chemistry between the hero/heroine as well as the daughter/the heroine. Might be time to start skimming this...

Eunique Sade Powell is 77% done

Ok! Seriously! Why get married but not tell anyone. The entire point is for it to look real so why hide it from the child and the community. Then, there is the fact that there is no chemistry between the couple. There is no connection with Jessica and Emma. I feel like the author just through sex and “I love you” in there. I don’t feel like I’m reading a love story. They don’t even appear to be friends.
