Jack Sullivan serves as our main character that we focus on the most. The book shows that Jack is our main protagonist as he is the narrator. Jack serves as the narrator because most illustrators tend to make the main protagonist the narrator since the book is about the main protagonist's life or their current situation.

Setting:
According to the book the location of our main characters is Wakefield, Massachusets USA. According to the book the time of when this apocalypse is happening is in the 2000's.

It's humorous when Jack talks about Bardle failing on the BMX bike and being a goofy clown. There is also a genre of memoir when Jack visits Bardle's grave. The book is really thriller and horror with all the monsters, undead, and sorcery.

I am so happy that we got our zombie team. The battle with the skeletons was really rough. So releaving that Skaelka is back and ok.

It's like they are the last kids on Earth, but really they are the last kids in Wakefield. Seeing Dirk better after his zombie bite and not hearing voices gets rid of our worries about him. seeing Alfred the zombie again is like seeing your friend from school as an adult.
