Kanye West and the dumb-dumbs who think he’s a genius need to read this book. Slavery was not a choice. Many ran away. They’re called Maroons. Look it up. His mom would want him to read it.

But also running away from slavery was severely criminalized through legislation in 1680, 1961, 1701, 1705, and throughout the eighteenth century.
