I am devouring this

this is actually fascinating to me and it shares a lot of the same key ideas that I’ve learned in my classes (which like duh but it’s still cool to read about the things I’m learning outside of a school setting/from another perspective)

Heather McTeer Toney’s “Collards Are Just as Good as Kale” on repeat please. Bookmarked and will be coming back to over and over again.

I don’t often read non-fiction, but I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of essays, poems, (and illustrations) all written and edited by women. I’ve learned so much from All We Can Save, as well as feeling reassured in my beliefs. This book is a beacon of hope, and call to move forward. I will be sharing it with everyone I know!
