I think I’m gonna give this a strong 2
Just a lot of interesting concepts but o don’t think superhero stories work in such short formats

I think trinity and SOS were pretty good idk
Rn it’s looking at a 2 stars cuz there’s so many stories but all of them are just alright

Realizing this book feels more like cartoonists jsut wanting to tell the stories they wanna tell which is cool but as an anthology I can buy and read idk just none of these stories really strike me
It feels like they’re an issue 1 to a series rather than a standalone

I’m mixed feelings on this
Most the art is not my thing

I think the scan job was really bad on the last story or the art was just that dark originally like ITS TOO DARK USE SOME HILIGHTS PLEASE

I keep forgetting how much ww2 influenced the early superhero comics

Alright first acrual story. Alright. I think the concept was cool but kinda hard to follow like alright waht was the point of it. Probably works better as a longer story. Also the John Henry reveal (I assume they’re referring to the folktale character they might not) at the end felt the some Marvel end credit scene. But yeah hood first comic. 3/5
