Status Updates From L'assassinio del Commendatore

Classic Murakami. Working through the opera “Don Giovanni” in parallel with the main character and possibly their mirror in the story. More eerie than ‘Kafka on the Shore’, also more sexual off the get-go but seems to fit with the exploration of the story. Hints to Greek mythology, Buddhism, some mentions of cats and fish. More so in that ‘curiosity killed the cat’ kind of a vibe.

If I did it that way, the work completed itself. But now I couldn't see anything that would provide the initial spark. You can have all the desire and ache inside you want, but what you really need is a concrete starting point.
