So far, it's been a great book. I just noticed that it mentioned that insects arised in the Triassic; afaik they appeared in the carboniferous. Also, it mentions that the griffinflies lived during the Triassic, but they died in the P-T extinction.
It could be interpreted as in that the most important orders of insects appeared in the Triassic and that Meganisoptera lived just in the Early Triassic.
