Status Updates From Deacon King Kong

Great read. I love the characters and McBrides style of writing. The way he dives into each character in the right way, the right amount and at the right time. I love the way he connects characters storylines in unexpected ways without becoming too overwhelming. I like the ending but wish the “why” of the shooting was explained better. But still loved the book!
