Status Updates From Lucrezia Borgia

Lucrezia has married her third husband, Este, and the Pope is in his last days.

Lucrezia was a pawn of her father, Pope Alexander VI, and her brother Cesare. She was raised in an unsavory environment, but I have not read of her poisoning anyone yet.

Pope Alexander VI has lost his favorite son Juan to murder, is in the process of having Lucrezia's marriage annulled. Her brother Cesare is suspected of having killed Juan, but no one will speak of this suspicion, not even the Pope, his father.

The Borgias really do make the Tudors seem normal.

So far less about Lucrezua than her father and the political situation in Italy

Style is a little dated but it's easy to read.
