just an almost-there check-in:
the first 1/3 made sure we all know who's who and that these were extended families who sometimes marry distant cousins... the pace was so slow with some dry humor
and then then it got good, picked up the pace, and then it got HORRIFYING real quick i had to take a break!!
dmgr; the story is soooo good, which is odd because i hate ALL the characters in varying degrees. they all suck :(
