I think Ava’s apology to Jaime needs to be way more sincere and thorough. He may be a bit jealous and emotionally reactive but what she did - putting a man over a friendship - is not acceptable (at least in my perspective). Ugh. Let’s see where this takes us….is Mat a spy or something? Would be wild if Mat was the one who crashed into the car Ava was in and killed her parents and fianceé!!!

What is this book even about? Don’t get me wrong, the journey has been very pleasant so far, but what’s up with Mat? Romance isn’t this easy. I don’t trust it. Something’s up…

This book is unbelievably boring. But my reading challenge is so behind I can't dnf lmao.

Inconsistent personality - starts off neurodivergent, but seems neurotypical shortly in. Likely predictable but we’ll see. Plot has a lot of filler that isn’t the most interesting / needed to the plot. Easy to listen to distracted. Not enough build up of romance - seems to happen too quickly and without reason.
