This book is very compelling and disturbing but damn I need to sleep

I legitimately feel like I’m drunk and sleep deprived just from reading this book

Up to ch29. My head hurts. Sideways skipping is so out of the expected, and I’m rather surprised by the unpleasantness surrounding Laney.

Up to ch24. Gibbs isn’t what I expected. Rather claustrophobic setting in the Alaskan home.

Up to ch18. Is this theoretically possible? Laney’s suggestions are somewhat weird, but they make sense as we read. Wonder if we’ll learn the truth.

Up to ch10. In some respects she seems so mature for a sixteen year old, but then something she picks up on or her expression reminds me she’s still so young.

Up to ch6. It’s so hard to work out what Laney has seen/experienced and what is imagined. She seems as confused as we are and these references to a therapist make me wonder how much we can trust what she tells us.

Third chapter is odd. Is she imagining these scenes?

Up to ch3. She’s an interesting character, and I’m intrigued by her reactions to other characters.

Up to ch2. Not sure what she saw her dad doing, but it sounds like the trigger to whatever causes her to write about these alternate universes.

Disliking this book so much that I am actually way more excited to start Midnight Sun now

Is everything just Laney's hallucinations? I just want to finish this... 😧
