I like my book because it talks about basketball. The main character Lincon is the best player in his team (Soto 70).

My favorite character in this story is Lincoln because he is really good at dealing with stuff under pressure for example when he was hurt and somebody broke into his house he was very calm and tried to fight the intruder. The characters felt very real to me. (Soto 51)

Lincoln has been going out with this kid named James for a good minute. Then Lincoln was thinking that this kid named Tony had stole his TV. Lincoln wanted to punch him. Then him and Tony both thought that this old man had stole the TV.

Lincoln has been going over to James house, and then one day Lincoln was thinking that this kid named Tony stole his TV. But then they both thought that this old man stole it, so there trying to figure it out. And another time Lincoln was in algebra class and couldn't concentrate because basketball was on his mind. He closed his eyes and had images in his head.
