Status Updates From Haikyu!!, Vol. 36

WOW!

I don't know how to put into words how much joy these panels bring me.

"Y'know there's this really weird vibe between you two." Dm, if even Yamamoto is noticing it you know you're down bad.

That was a nasty serve though, Kenma. Ouch.
That save Hinata made was almost ridiculous. - 157

Taketora dropped it so low he needs to be getting paper. - 136

Saeko's not about to let anyone sleep on her boys.

I'm so proud of Suga and Daichi. 🥹 - 146

"The kitty cats are sending in their puppy dog now." - Tendo
But like, what's the lie? 😂 - 147

Stfu I love it! In my top 10 chapter art.
He looks like Asta! - 150

Another thing up never get over is Hinata's genuine and open admirationof other players skills. Instead of envy or irritation, he looks at every players display of skill with awe and hunger. - 125

He SMILED!?
It looks so genuine! Who knew he was capable of joy?! - 127

Noya is unreal. That boy was genetically engineeredin a laboratoryfor this role specifically.
Shook up everyone.
Dm, Yaku just saw jesus.Valid - 132

"If you're having trouble wording a retort, I could punch him for you." - Good captain and dad, Daichi Sawamura - 118

"... when the whole teamwork thing finally clicks with you." I'm a sucker for well executed team work. Catch me watching Black Clover and absolutely breaking anytime they use their powers in tandem. It's just so gratifying. -122

"Reach out is are to the other a teacher." I'm not athletic. I neither watch nor play sports. But I'll always appreciatethe positive display of sportsmanship, respect, and comradery. -107

Peak Yaku and Hinata. Yaku it's always so flawless. But let's stop and appreciate both that jump, and Hinata being able to reliably aim for the gap between the blockers. - 100p

Love Yaku and Noya being able to appreciate the other teams skills with genuine awe mid match. -102p

See the little things they've worked on and all the ways they're grown, line Noya moving out of the hitters path is so satisfying- 104p

The irrational amount of serotonin I get when Hinata not only does something well, but well enough to shaketh other players so they make faces like this 92p

The manga does a lot more to show us that Kenma really does love the sport. I really like seeing this side of him. - 84p

"Everybody's gotta be their own kind of crazy, huh?"
Kuroo: Proud dad of a couple of dumb *ss kids.👍 - 85p

"We don't know what's going on, but if they're doing it so're we!" They're so dumb, i love them so much!😭 - 87p

Also, that face Kenma made at the idea of doing physical excerstion is my new reaction meme for everything. - 75p

"Oh, those? It's just a little internal bleeding." Siiiirrr. Siiiirrrrrrr~
That's unhingedand I love that. - 76p

"The first and most important lesson to teach is how fun it is to succeed at something."
"Do what you love, and success will come."
Coach nekomata's giving Iroh vibes. - 79p

'Did Karasuno win?'
'Not yet, that was just set 2.'
'REALLY, BC THEY'RE ACTING LIKE THEY JUST WON??'

Small shout out to Kuroo being adorkable, Kenma being supportive, and Karasuno being excited and adorable🧡🖤. - 67p

Ahh! Kuroo-Kenma orgin story. And after Kenma dragged him for being a good captain. Lol
I don't remember him being so quiet in the anime origin story, but i love it. - 75p

The way Yaku was like, 'Yeah, his spikes hurt like hell huh😁' Boy, you and Noya built different. - 57p

"Every time we play, Shoyo is always new and different."
I love that extra shine in everyone's eyes when Sho does something epic. They always look like they just saw a literal angel descend or a unicorn, and I'm here for it. - 65p

Everyone always making Hinata their personal vision board; like 'the bar is here,' and then just sets it on Hinata's head.

'Are you ready?'
'Btch NO.' - Teshiro
I'm paraphrasing, but he is so really for that! Felt, babe. - 46-47p

Baby got BOOST!
Way to go, Teshiro!
Kenma's running commentary is so interesting. He really is a great tactician. It really fleshes out his character. - 51p

"From a blocker's standpoint, Hinata-kun is one very, veeery aggravating opponent!"
The look of shares disdain from Tendo, Tsukki, and Kuroo. Team Tangerine Hate Squad. My son has become a beast! - 39p

I don't think we got to see Inuoka's growth montage/glow up, but i love it.
Kai being a spicy cinnamonroll. All, "I don't think I'm gonna tell him he did well just yet." - 44p

"Whoever they are, they're fired! Fired!" Suga's inner monolog giving Karen, hilarious. His PR team's working overtime to keep up that whole angel persona, bc that boy is just as much a chaos gremlin as the rest of them. -30p

A moment a silence to appreciate Daichi once again being this team's rock. -31p

Tanaka: Dmn, that was an awesome set I just did!
IT SURE WAS! We love a king who appreciates himself! -35p

Not Shirabu trying to give poor Goshki a heart attack. Yall, let him enjoy Karasuno's match! - 18pg

Anytime Hinata just utterly stuns ppl with his skills,, I. Am. Eating. 🤗

Kageyama unsure of what to do with a genuine compliment from Hinata is adorable. -20pg

"Nekoma equips two shields." Love it!
Can we talk about ch 316 being Hinata's Nekoma fan club and him eating watermelon 😁 -27pg
