Honestly not impressed so far I get it’s his first book the pacing drags and it’s honestly gross but I want to keep pushing through too see if what’s being built up pays off towards the end which is one thing going for this book I’m excited about.

I hated the idea that there were no chapters to CARRIE, but going back and forth between the central story and news clippings/testimonies of the aftermath, I’m on a speed run.

She’s at Prom. She’s with Tommy. And I gotta know: WHAT. THE HELL. HAPPENS.

It’s kind of funny seeing how the writer’s style has developed into what we know now… all the little things and details he always brings up in his stories. I’m finally starting to see where it all comes from.
