Status Updates From Divisa in due

PROTAGONIST: My story's protagonist is Isabella. She talks about her life struggles and tells the reader everything about herself."It was like our family had come down with a horrible, incurable disease or something." This is showing me that in the beginning of the story it's already telling me that this story is about Isabella and her life struggles for example the divorce.

SETTING:Blended takes place in a small town in Ohio&California.In the beginning of the book it says "Isabella,I've been offered a job in California" then a few pages later it says "But if you lived in California". These quotes show that the dad is moving to California & some of the story will take place there.Then it says "The distance from Ohio to California". Now,this shows that it also takes place in California.

GENRE: The genre of my book is realistic fiction. It shows real events that can happen in real life, such as the main event that happened which is the divorce. I think realistic fiction is really good for this book because it shows events that really do happen but you get to hear the story from her perspective.
