Status Updates From The Librarian and the Beast...

Once chapter 15 came along, I haven't been able to put this book down.

Unfortunately, it has taken me too long to finish reading this. I'm starting to enjoy the book, but I really want to love it.

I'm finally back in the mood to read this again. I love the story and how it's written, but for whatever reason, I'm having a hard time finishing it right away.

I'm a mood reader, so it's hard for me to get into some stories at times. It took me four times of reading the first three pages to get into this. This time, I've made it to page 15 without any issues. I'm definitely on Beni's side and hope she can rescue the books from Mr. Woodiker, who would see to it that the fictional books are burned.

It had an interesting premise but I’m just not jiving with the author’s writing style and dialogue. It just seems so cheesy to me and a lot of ‘telling’ about people’s feelings instead of showing and letting the reader connect the dots. Does Faltz seem to be warming up to Beni? Yup, mystery over.
