I loved 'the worst witch' and I loved the world Jill Murphy had created and while I was reading the first book I always kept the thought in the back of my mind that jk Rowling was inspired by her not the other way around but while hogwarts was warm miss cackle's Academy wasn't and after reading 3 books it feels almost repetitive, Mildred saving the day and getting criticised I feel so bad for the poor child.
