I don’t know a lot of Europeans. Just my Mum’s cousin’s husband, who’s always inviting me for tabletop games. Then I bring my “cousin”, who’s not really my cousin but my Dad’s cousin’s son, who wows him with his Batangueño party trick: drinking in quick succession while playing Wingspan. What I want to say is…this is the only knowledge I have of Europe. So I’m struggling here.

Annie messaged me yesterday. Before I left Melbourne she gave me this book, and I thought I’d return a favour so I got her a copy of Uketsu’s Strange Pictures (its’s a crowd pleaser). She wrote to tell me she just finished the book and she is obsessed, and have I read the book? The answer is nope, so now I had to take it out of my suitcase and actually read it. Wave pool will sort it out.
