not sure about this book yet. characters are flat, annoying and ainslie is (almost?) a rapist. love the historical references tho

Outlander for sapphics, I love it.

Laughably terrible!!

So they're already pretty much together, Jane is very inclined towards staying, and I'm just scared what the remaining 70% of this book could possibly contain, the pace is SO fast. Like lighning speed.

So let me get this straight. Outing her husband to a scientist in her own time and then leaving him at the mercy and in the care of said scientist is fine... but outing him to a woman who lives 600 years BEFORE that time is not???

okay, these people definitely have a history of time travellers landing there or even time travelling themselves, because there is no way this author, who is a historian, gave them fountain pens in the 13th century

almost finished, but not enthusiastic to continue reading. book is basically over and there's nothing left to look forward to, except for easing tension between mother and daughter, i suppose. with so little of the book left, i imagine the fixer-uppers and bonus happy ever-afters will be a bit rushed..

Giving this book a try.
