I appreciate the knowing that while loving can help, the work must be done by one to learn the art of loving and when under a system that tells men that loving is weak , etc etc… ya know.
She doesn’t tell you to accept abuse, what I’m getting is to gain understanding and be loving because they system needs to be dismantled by men whw know how to love.

She says that men must be willing to change, but a few pages back said it’s not that they aren’t willing to.
I’m assuming following the first statement that she may mean that it’s because patriarchy keeps them from knowing themselves meaning they don’t know how to change … ?
