i love the voice acting in this audiobook yall it’s so funny, it has so much 1920s southern twang in it even tho it’s set in chicago?

Oh my god!! It’s brilliant… though it’s less of a mystery of who is ‘the bad guy’ and instead is more like why is ‘bad guy’ (if that makes any sense 😅) because it obviously can’t really be a mystery if Ruby can literally read minds. It’s like if you used flippers in the Olympics freestyle race. Anyways, I’m still waiting until the two characters actually MEET each other… I’m tortured.

it's crazy i think the author purposely added sexual tension between ruby and the reporter. I need at least 1 undeniable confirmation of lesbianism before the book ends like cmon. alternatively her man cld transform into her and they could have crazy yuri sex
