This is a high octane first half. Hopefully stakes get bigger and even more exciting in the second half. The romance is a b plot. It’s good for character development and engagement but it’s less important to the plot. And I’m enjoying the plot of crazy repossessions.

So this kicks off quite entertaining. Will be a nice downer while trying to compete the Malice Duology. High stakes. Contemporary. Action packed. Exciting.

I'm enjoying the book, but I don't believe I've ever seen the word crudite used this many times in a book.
