Status Updates From Hedda Gabler

I can’t believe there’s only one act left! This has been quite the fascinating read.

These are all such quirky characters I must say.

The word that comes to mind when I think of Hedda is: insolent.

I’m laughing at myself for thinking the movie was intense; Hedda is even more devious in the original writing. 🙆🏽‍♂️ To think Henrik Ibsen wrote this play in the late 19th century!

Hedda is just a sociopath I tell you!

In its own way, this is more dramatic than the Prime Video retelling. 😂😂😶‍🌫️

It’s interesting analyzing Ibsen’s work and what drove him to write ‘problem-plays’ such as this one.

I’m here after watching the 2025 film adaptation. Seems like quite the scandal.
