How about the dwarf, Tonga, who's shot by Holmes and Watson (110)? "[I]n the dark ooze at the bottom of the Thames lie the bones of that strange visitor..." (111). Mrs. Woolf, a dwarf? Not really, but "ooze" is strange? Was she shot, went overboard, not into Ouse but the Thames?
