Deep dive på ålens historia, biologi och dess närvaro inom litteratur och kultur hihi. Irina hade ÄLSKAT alla källhänvisningar, liknelser och metaforer. Känns nästan som att jag läser en svenska essä… vet inte om jag älskar just det.

So far this book reminds me a bit of 'Why Fish Don't Exist' but slightly less scholarly. An easy read so far though part of it feels veryyyyy Scandinavian. I think it's the sentence structure.
