Sadly I am very close to the end of the text. I have such respect for both Edward Carpenter and for his biographer in this case, Sheila Rowbotham.

This is a brilliantly written biography about a fascinating and pro social person. Enjoying it so much.

I am so excited about reading this book and already feel very grateful to Sheila Rowbotham. She provides such a good insight into the development of Edward Carpenter's beliefs and behaviours. I find his practical and emotional struggles invigorating and do feel that I would have liked being in his company.

I think this is going to be a compulsive read - so delighted

Just read the introduction as want to finish Sylvia Pankhurst first.
