it’s just making me think a lot which I like when a book does so. I feel like I’m under some sort of spell reading this. kind of how reading piranesi feels.

at times I wonder if it’s a reaction to a trauma response, but I could be wrong. I’m finding this to have a dreamlike stillness to it. I quite like the writing style. we shall see how the second half goes!
