Het verhaal, gebaseerd op de Chinese cultuur uit de zestiende eeuw, zat vol humor, mythische wezens en subtiele knipogen naar de normen en waarden van die tijd. Hoewel het soms wat chaotisch en moeilijk te volgen was, maakte juist die speelsheid het ook vermakelijk. Een grappige, moderne bewerking van een klassiek verhaal die zeker blijft hangen (ik weet niet goed of slecht haha)

I genuinely don't know if I care for this or not. I think I'll watch the Chinese drama show and come back to it knowing more about the story. I'm finding it very hard to follow in-between the waffle which is then also paced rather rapidly.
