I'm not sure if it's that my mood and the book isn't vibing or if it's something else. Whatever it is, I'm realising that this is going to take me a while to finish and that's okey.

This book is significantly longer than the previous ones and it's also taking me a longer time to get into it.

I liked book 3 a lot, but I'm starting to realise that I don't fully remember the end of the book. Time to revisit the last chapters of "The Court of Mortals" before I keep going with this one.

I had to wait to receive a physical copy of this book after listening to the first three on audible. After the same great narrator for the first three, I was very disappointed to find that a different narrator was used for the final book in the main series. It was incredibly difficult to follow and the male characters had Amari identical voices, so I was forced to change formats
