I like the book a lot and I’m gaining good knowledge about Pelé and his career. It does change topics quickly but if you stay focused I think you could learn from it. Im reading this book because I like Pelé and I’m doing a project on him in Spanish class.

An event that was struggling Pele is his son Edhino has trouble with the law. His son has gone to prison for manslaughter,traffic accidents during a car race and drugs. One the text it says how “ the time he spent in jail then, two months of which were in Brazil maximum security prison, were among the worst of Pele’s life. This quote shows how his son having trouble with the law was the worst part of his life

One part that was very sad was when Pele played his last game for cosmos. For example his fans and teammates were really sad like beckenbauer. Beckenbauer said “I️ had many great moments In my career but the greatest was playing with Pele”(pg 13). This quote shows how he loved playing with Pele and how it sad he isn’t going to play with him anymore.

It was surprising that Pele went to cosmos. It is surprising because he could of played for Real Madrid or Juventus which are two big clubs. I think he choose cosmos to make the team into champion. Also pele said “soccer has arrived, finally, in USA. This quote means that pele want to spread soccer where it’s not popular.
