RIP to the three siblings that magically disappeared into the void after the prequel novella. The mechanics are just so friggin’ bad, and there’s the complete dumpster fire that is the lack of continuity and consistency… ugh. Campy’s story was cute and sweet, but the vibe is just off for me due to the lack of good bones to support the books.

Jeffy friggin’ Spaghetti. The inconsistency just keeps getting worse and worse. I don’t hate the stories or the characters, but trying to make sense of the terrible mechanics and the insane lack of continuity is dragging me down. On to Campy now…

Just finished Tank, and if I thought the mechanics and the inconsistencies couldn’t get worse, I was just proven wrong on all counts. That was painful. I loved the story, and I loved the characters, but y’all. We gotta do better than that.

So after reading the prequel short and the first book (Rebel), I gotta say I’m underwhelmed. The story was good, but it’s extremely inconsistent and the editing is awful. Not knowing when/how to add -ly to a word is weird. And mixing up names in the middle of scenes is confusing. Look, if y’all need copy editing, hit me up.
