Status Updates From A Sport and a Pastime

Mhmm I thought I’d like this more.. It still feels at points radiant with nostalgia and melancholia which is very nice. The writing is very good. Some of the sex-scenes work better than others, I.e. some of them made me laugh at the prose, which I don’t think was intended. Some of them are genuinely funny though.

Loving this book. The day trips through France as much as the story of a Lolita-esque sexual relationship, make for a deliciously seductive summer read.
