Mostly ended up chapter page skimming

Glad I did too, I was barely engaged with this story, the characters and this world.

The cliche epilogue ending and time jump with the fmc having a baby was the epitome of meh.

There were maybe one or two moments that I would say was sweet. But ultimately forgettable overall. Is this even worth two, let alone three stars rating

It’s slow and drags, the bits that are supposed to be quirky or funny fell flat with me. The cute and sweet moments with the mcs are lukewarm. Yawn.

Maybe I’ll feel diff after a break from reading.

So far, this book has been 40% crying, 50% sex, and 10% plot. Mostly still reading because GR won't let me have a dnf without classifying as read, reading or want to read. I'm also 90% certain I can guess the ending resolution
