So I’m really enjoying the plot of this book and the action but I really don’t feel that the main character, Bishop, has a personality at all. I’m more than halfway through the book and I don’t understand how I’m supposed to connect with him if we don’t see any character development. I also feel like we move through the action a little to easily. There needs to be more internal struggle

I was given an advanced copy of this book for honest review. So far I am enjoying this story but I have to say, of the two main characters, Tessa is much more interesting and better written. Bishop seems vaguely robotic and his POV is written in this style that seems to pull every synonym from the thesaurus and fit it in a sentence. I find my self skimming during his POV. Brevity would be appreciated here.
