Just starting Chpt 12. Wow. So much info to digest. Presented really well. I can see, where this would be used in an Economics course. Outside of that, it has a ton of info for the average business or lay person. Finding the arguments really compelling. Much of my own changes in how I buy are captured in a marketing logic that reaffirms my choices: Small changes have big impact.

Compelling argument for a new business model. Thought I'd be able to read quickly; but it's so darn good, I find myself reading, taking lots of notes & chewing on all the new information. Consumers rewarding Wall St for being environmentally & socially conscious? Demographics of the next 10-15 years favoring Millennials & Gen-Z? The drastic change in how we consume? Like I said, Compelling argument~

Building on Basic Economic principles, Steel identifies & 'translates' the market trend of a fifth "P": Purpose. He presents a strong case so far for the need for companies & leaders to recognize drastic changes in how consumers shop: The Purposeful Consumer & our impact on business & market forces. Truly a must read for environmental savvy & conscientious investors & bus owners.
