Hmm.... what? I am not sure I like this new picture of arcanciels we're painting. First they are powerful and so alien in their thinking and so... violent/predatory/arrogant they are considered a big threat. Now they are... 5-year-old kids who could be led by their noses with a few silly words. There are some opposites that contrast and work together, these clash.

I don't like this - when Ed wanted to braid her hair she made it a point she will only allow someone she trusts to braid it. I was hurt and upset on Ed's behalf but accepted it. Now she allows this completely new and unlikeable character to do it? Now that makes it bad. Both instances.

I know these are fictional characters spending fictional money but WHY??? There's a treasure hidden a desk - it had been hidden for a long time, do you A) break the desk so no one sees you have a new treasure or B) hire a random outsider for an outrageous sum to feel up the desk AND have the discovered trinket delivered home by a different guy. I miss some common sense.

Well, funny you should ask, Nell is actually getting to FireWind, just finished her 5th book (re-reading I mean) and I do wish we saw him more in your world as well, he is your brother, after all and I am starting to like him more with each scene.

I KNEW IT!! Beast can do things Jane can't. I don't mean just the obvious but incorporating the other DNA and eating... stuff, without the penalty. Holy Moly. And she can SHOOT. And the love declaration on top of it? Whoo.
