Zo’n verzamelaar brengt steeds nieuwe dichters onder de aandacht. Ik had nog nooit gehoord van John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892). Geweldige tweede naam trouwens!

Vandaag poëzie van William Morris. Ontwerper en vooruitstrevend socialist. Ook dichter dus. Nog geen juichend hart van mijn kant, wel een half gekrulde mondhoek.
