dnf. gave it three days and I could not get past how atrociously awful this was. not worth the time. negative stars for wasting my time.

I'm about 42% through the book. I find the writing confusing and inconsistent. The author is obviously trying to make the writing feel atmospheric, however some word choices seem to be wrong. The hero's motivations are not clear, and the herione runs hot & cold. I can understand not wanting to want to have sex with someone, but her attitude toward him for it was extreme and rather unfair.
