It would not have taken much to check about Italian names or terms to be credibile about the Italian characters of the story, 'Francesca' instead of 'Francisca', 'delizioso' instead of 'delicioso' and so on.
If you want to invest on Italian charm, do it with knowledge or leave it alone.
The book is readable but nothing special.
I might finish it, maybe, but I would not recommend it.
